(Street photography was my first love and while I rarely indulge these days, it’s mostly because I find my surroundings bland compared to the years I spent in Asia. So here I revisit a particular moment in my street photography journey, when I started working with heavy constraints, ie. shooting handheld with Lomo Fantome 8 film. )

Walls of Air Conditioning units is something I’ve only really seen in Asian cities, and this particular vista, overlooking the pompously names Lan Kwai Fong Amphitheater was one of my favourites. To be honest, I still can’t believe this one came out looking so well, the slight shadow in the center still legible enough that you understand what you’re looking at and the texture on the whitewashed walls still visible…
