Paper Smile

(The Paper Nudes serie is ongoing. It uses a very special paper based film called Washi W, very high contrast, low sensitivity and paper fiber texture showing through.)

I love how these profiles come along, fast fading into black on the opposite side to the light, but retaining a fair bit of texture in the lit areas as well. I really like Cécile’s faint smile here. It was a fun session, and as a photographer, when you see such a natural smile, you know you’ve managed to make the model comfortable.
