Portraits of Hong Kong

I'm a huge fan of Fan Ho's work, and when I learned a gallery in Hong Kong was showing some of his prints and a new book, Portraits of Hong Kong was out I had to check it. The book is marvelous, highlighting shots from the 50s that Fan Ho revisited later in life. In particular, he became quite aggressive with super narrow crops that look a little like Chinese scrolls in format. Superb work, with some amazing colour shots (I'd only seen his black and white work til now). Highly recommended.
